Original World War Two South African Brodie Helmet, Mark II Foreign The blue felt backing wasAn original South African Brodie helmet, differing from the British variant in being slightly rounder and having three holes punched above the neckline for installation of a sun flap. Helmet has been repainted, but condition is good. No maker marks found on the helmet. Liner is intact, a little crunchy perhaps. 1943 date and manufacturer mark inside the liner. Maker difficult to read but thought to be Jager Rand.
