Sword of the Animist was far less of a known quantity five years ago, but the fact its price wont stay down nowadays belies the fact its just a solid, solid card
Detective of the Month A 2/2 is already above most of the rewards we've seen for drawing two cards a turn, and Detective of the Month eventually makes itself and the other tokens it created unblockable
While we'd argue this MTG Commander deck takes the cake for featuring the best Doctor Who era (note: we're very biased), there does seem to be real value in its cards
Because a creature is sacrificed as an additional cost for casualty, both the copies and the original acknowledge this and have a boosted morbid output
However, since the value of these decks is significantly above MSRP, just having the new cards decrease in price won't be enough, so we'll likely see a big decline from most of the reprints (especially those that aren't top 100 Commander cards) as well
