I agree that nowadays destroying is not as good as before, but still, a card that counters anything that destroys less than 3 cards, including most Counter Traps (except Wiretap, Debunk, THRiO, etc.) doesn't look fair
You can use foreign-language copies of legal-for-play cards printed for the TCG market, as long as you can show an official translation of the card, kept outside of your Deck and Deck box when asked to do so by an opponent or tournament official
The Traps provide the deck with non-targeting disruption of our opponent, either by stealing their monsters, destroying them, or negating their effects
are still quite expensive despite showing up in multiple reprint sets over the years
This scenario creates immense confusion during local community meetups
