Orvis 1874 Original Fly Reel with Walnut Box 8' For sale here is aFor sale here is a very rare C. F. Orvis 1874 Trout Reel with its original walnut box (with original parchment paper too!). This reel is considered to be the first ventilated fly reel. Riveted construction second model. 2 3 4" diameter, 3 8" spool width, removable handle, nickel plated brass. The reel can be fished right or left hand retrieve and the click still works really well. Nickel plated finish is in really nice condition. The reel foot has
