Named by Dave Matthews and found in many orchards around Monmouthshire

rumoured to be the last Jennet perry pear

juicy and sweet

but in existence in England before 1685

Sturmer Pippin Size:M26 juicy and aromatic eating appleAn old, Essex variety from around 1800, Sturmer Pipping produces a crisp and sharp apple, ready in late October which stores brilliantly, into March. The fruit is medium sized, ribbed and sometimes oblong, with a green skin that has an orange flush. It tastes best when it's been stored for a while, during which it sweetens. Rated by the Victorian writer Hogg as "of first rate excellence".
